Christmas Gift Update December 14 2020, 0 Comments

Its December!

We have been busy dyeing away to create yet more christmas goodies and they will go up on the website tonight at 8pm. Sorry for the short notice but I didn't want to delay it given postage times.

We have a few different things this time, which I hope will make great presents or treat yourself for some relaxing crafting over the Christmas period.

Virt-Yule is continuing until Sunday and we are still offering Free Postage on UK orders over £50 and Worldwide orders over £100. Head over to Facebook to see what's happening. The Floof and Desire Marble which has already been added as part of the event is available in the Christmas gifts section for easy finding.

Don't forget blog post covers all things related to Christmas, last posting dates etc.

Finally welcome to all the new newsletter subscribers, thank-you for joining us. Normally we have 1 shop update a month, on a Wednesday, and we will be back to that pattern from January.

Take care and stay safe.

We have listed suggested yarns for each pattern with links, but, if you need help, drop me a note and I'll be happy to guide you.

desire marble yarn

Desire Marble

Desire Marble is a skooshy superwash merino which has been spun with a darker fibre for parts of one ply giving an interesting marbled effect. Super soft feel suitable for hats, scarves, gloves or whole garments. Available Now.

floof yarn

Floof

A fluffy cloud-like yarn which results in a soft, hazy fabric. Use on its own or hold together with another yarn to produce an interesting texture. We have dyed some colours to match our favourite repeatable colourways - ideal for Love note sweaters or other projects combining yarns. Available Now.

Charity Colourway

Blush - School Lunch

This colourway has been created as a way to raise some money for a charity I have supported for a long time. Last year we held a raffle at our December Open Studio, because of Covid, we can't have an open studio this year, but ATE still desperately need the funds so I have dyed this colourway from a photo Sarah sent me of some of the children of Karbo Junior High School walking to collect their school lunch - hence the name of the colourway. £5 from each skein will go to ATE - Action Through Enterprise.
