Thank you to everyone who visited the stand at Stafford Wool Gathering last weekend. It was a lovely show and I'm hoping it will grow into a great show as the venue is amazing. You can see the size of the walkways, so it didn't feel crowded even at popular times. 

I have just about manages to upload all the new yarn to the website. I still have minis to add but if they aren't up today I will add them tomorrow, Lots of colours on all 4 bases, so do check back if you are looking for little pops of yarn.

Its half term next week so I'm taking a few days off with my kids. There will be no post from Wednesday 29th October til Tuesday 4th November. Orders placed during this time will be posted when I get back. I'm looking forward to a halloween holiday, there will probably be picture when we get back!

The pre-order for the two seasonal colourways will be up til the end of the month, or more likely when I get back from holiday, but then they will be gone forever. I'm really sorry if you missed out at the show, I could not believe how fast the Crush 4ply went, but this means you can order it on a selection of bases.

This month there is lots of Coorie - my new favourite bouncy DK yarn, more Enchant and some Lustrous Lace as well as a few other skeins that were dyed for the show. Do go check out the preview or read on for more information.

 

Coorie

 

Hopefully you have seen this hat I knitted either on socials or at a show. As the pattern is now available directly from Woolly Wormhead I have dyed up a big batch of Coorie so you can make your own. If you want to copy my colourway combo, go for Nettlebed and Glistening Dew (which has slightly more speckles than the skein I used) or put your own combination together.

 

 

 

  

 

Hedgerow Harvest and Wheat Seeds or Evening Light and either Royal Ascot or Inkpen keep calling to me. It makes a really bouncy and warm hat and is a fun knit. Don't be put off by the short rows, there are great videos for help if you need them On Woolly's YouTube channel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Enchant


A perennial favourite especially at shows, hopefully now with only a couple of one day shows on the horizon I can keep a little more of this super soft and warm yarn in stock. Ideal for gifts for a very special person or to treat yourself for a luxurious accessory. If you can't see the colourway you are looking for don't forget its still available as dye to order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lustrous Lace

Several colourways of our popular 800m per 100g laceweight yarn in variegated and semisolid colourways. I dyed these in twos but if you need a larger quantity do order from the dye to order section.
