Summer Reboot July 2025 July 20 2025, 0 Comments
Thank you to everyone who voted for which yarns you wanted to be able to order. I hope I covered all requests, drop me an email if I missed anything. As this is a pre-order and the quantities aren't limited they are available now rather than at 8pm tonight. If the initial quantity has sold you should still be able to order, any problems let me know.
Show Colourways
Canal Boat
Say It With Flowers
Dark Skies

Mistletoe & Wine
A festive colourway originally dyed for the first Christmas Wool Show last year at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham.
Mini Skein Club
These colourways were originally dyed for our Mini Skein Club. Each month we visit a different county and I dye two colourways inspired by different things related to that county. The reboot skeins will be 100g skeins not minis.
Somerset - September 2024
Glastonbury Tor
This colourway is inspired by dark blue autumn skies, warm yellow for the sandstone tower and a splash of green for the grass.
Aqua Glass
This blue colour is inspired by the colour of the glass made in Bath and is reminiscent of the colour of the water in the famous baths.
Middlesex - October 2024
Kew Gardens
This colourway is inspired by the largest botanical collection in the world. Its famous palm house is one of the most easily identified glasshouses and is just one of many plant houses both large and small.
Warwickshire - November 2024
Gunpowder Plot
The Gunpowder Plot was planned near Snitterfield in Warwickshire. This was an unsuccessful attempt to blow up the House of Lords at the State Opening of Parliament on the 5th November 1605.
East Sussex - December 2024
Brighton Pride
Dyed to celebrate the biggest event of the year in Brighton, Pride - it’s a splash of blue for the blue sky and sea and all the colours of the rainbow!
Tethys Ocean
The famous chalk of the South Downs were laid down in the Cretaceous Period when it was a shallow sea that formed part of the Tethys Ocean.
Devon - January 2025
Smeaton's Lighthouse
Smeaton's Lighthouse was the 3rd lighthouse built on Eddystone rocks and was the first one built in the now traditional lighthouse shape which was inspired by an oak tree.
Glamorgan - February 2025
Crucible of the Industrial Revolution
Inspired by Glamorgan's natural resources of iron, copper and coal and their role in industry locally and further afield.
Red Lady
Inspired by the skeleton found in Goat Hole Cave, stained red with ochre who may have been an Ice Age mammoth hunter.
County Antrim - March 2025
Mingling With Giants
Inspired by the Giant's Causeway and a recreation of a show colourway I dyed for Yarnfolk way back in 2019.
St. Patrick
St. Patrick's brought Christianity to Ireland sometime in the 5th Century and now is celebrated on 17th March
Perthshire - April 2025
Fortingall Yew
The Fortingall Yew is tree estimated to be at least 1500 years old, possibly making it the oldest tree in Britain and one of the oldest in Europe and one branch has recently started to bear berries.
Macbeth's Dagger
Birnam Wood near Perth is the forest location where Shakespeare set his play Macbeth, so this is inspired by the play and the best known quote: “Is this a dagger which I see before me…”
Hampshire - May 2025
Jane Austin
Jane Austin is a novelist who was born and grew up in Steventon, Hampshire where her father was the rector of the local parish and later she lived in Chawton and then Winchester, at the end of her life.
