December Shop Update February 08 2022, 0 Comments

So here we are at the last newsletter of the year!

Thank-you to everyone who came to the Open Studio on Saturday. I hope you enjoyed it and I'm already looking forward to the next one which hopefully will be in April next year.

That wasn't the last event of the year tho, I am having a pop-up shop in Petersfield next Saturday (11th) at the lovely Handmade Studios Yarn shop, just on the square. I haven't visited since they moved from Rowlands Castle so I'm looking forward to seeing the new shop and sharing some of our yarns. Do pop along if you are in the area.

Keep an eye on your email for news of things happening after Christmas - I'm trying to keep this newsletter short so I won't include them here.

All the yarn for tonight is on line, we have some super soft Enchant, Bliss Heavy Lace in semi-solids, gorgeous gradient sets of Little Squashes, more Five for Silver - Duets this time, and a restock of the Crush. If you would like to go straight to the preview page you can use the button below, otherwise read on for my descriptions of the yarn types.

Take care, stay warm and keep crafting!

Don't forget EU customers can now order from the website and if the order is under approx. £135 the vat is paid at the checkout with no further charges when you receive your parcel. Do share this with your yarn-loving friends in the EU! Customers so far have reported parcels arriving quickly and with no extra worries which is great. You can add tracking to your parcel for extra peace of mind.

Five for Silver

After the popularity of the Crush Duets last month we have dyed up some Five for Silver Duets this month. This will be the last batch of this base til next Christmas now as we only dye it seasonally. Each duets contains 2 50g skeins, one in a variegated colourway and the other in a coordinating semi solid. There are a maximum of two in each colour combination so they won't hang around.

Crush

We have restocked some of the more popular sock yarn colours we haven't had for a while as well as the last few skeins from this year's sock club that we found while tidying the studio. There is also more Jolly Holly which was by far the best selling colourway on Saturday - Would you like to see it added to the main collection?

Enchant

The dream combination of baby alpaca, silk and cashmere makes this a super-soft yarn with a slight halo yet beautiful sheen.

Bliss Heavy Lace

This update we have dyed a small selection of semi-solid colourways to complement the variegated ones we have already. Its a bouncy, super soft yarn with a lovely silky sheen and drape which blocks beautifully.

Little Squashes

The dream combination of baby alpaca, silk and cashmere makes this a super-soft yarn with a slight halo yet beautiful sheen.

Thank-you for reading to the end of this last full newsletter of 2021. Do keep an eye out for any news later in the month. Good luck with all your Christmas crafting,

Rachel x
