Mineralogy - Winter Solstice

Mineralogy is a beautifully crafted blend of three British and Falklands wools, spun by John Arbon in Devon. The combination of Corriedale, Grey Exmoor Blueface and Romney creates a yarn that is soft and bouncy with a warm, woolly character and a subtle halo. Spun as a 2-ply structure it has a delicate stitch definition and a gentle drape, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of projects.
As a non-superwash yarn, Mineralogy takes dye in a softer, more blended way than treated wools, giving colourways a beautiful organic quality. Hand wash with care and it will reward you with a yarn that blooms after blocking and improves with wear.
