Learn Tunisian Crochet Workshop 28th February 2026

I am really pleased to be running another beginners Tunisian Crochet workshop with afternoon tea at the studio. It will be taught by Sharon Carter who is is a freelance technical editor, yarn dyer, designer and experienced tutor. She has had several patterns published in both Knit Now and Crochet Now magazines. She particularly enjoys working with the amazing textures Tunisian crochet can produce and is keen to pass on her love of this technique.

This is what she says about the workshop:

I love Tunisian Crochet – you can create some really interesting textures and effects, particularly when working with 2 colours.
Suitable for beginners, you will learn how to cast on and work the Tunisian Simple Stitch. You will also learn how to increase, decrease and cast off. You will also learn to work with 2 colours (this produces lovely effects with very little effort!).
We will be making a number of small samples to practice the different stitches and techniques.

During the afternoon we will 

Workshop includes: Tunisian crochet hook, yarn, class notes and your afternoon tea.

Requirements: Suitable for beginners. Some experience with knitting or crochet is useful but not essential!

Time: 1pm til 4.30pm
